This upcoming weekend (June 25th & 26th) is Field Day! The event goes on-air at 1400 EDT. The club will meet at the residence of N3RPM who is graciously allowing us to use his various resources for the weekend.
For this event, we will have 1 transmitter and will be operating under the club callsign, KC3TKC. The club intends to use battery/solar power, an FT-991, and various other items generously offered by club members. We plan to have voice, CW, and data capabilities. Please feel free to stop by anytime during the 24 hour operating period to join in the fun, spend some time operating, or socialize with other hams who won’t give you funny looks when you talk about that sweet new piece of gear you got at the last hamfest!
Setup will begin at 0900 the morning of June 25th. Many hands make light work, so if you are available to assist with setup, we would appreciate your presence! The sooner we are setup, the more time we will have to test, troubleshoot, and practice before the event begins.
